Hello everyone,

I will be shooting a test video that will inform my next dance composition that will be used in the FIVE performance next year. I am very excited to be working with the legendary Dawn from The House Of Ebony. Its will be tomorrow at 2pm at Ramis Barquet Gallery. Announcing Fall/Winter 2012 Residencies

Eyebeam is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2012 Fall/Winter Residencies beginning in late September. All incoming artists and technologists receive generous stipends and 24/7 access to Eyebeam's design, research, and fabrication studios. Eyebeam residencies support the creative research, production and presentation of initiatives querying art, technology and culture. This 5 month residency is a period of concentration and immersion in artistic investigation, daring research and production of visionary, experimental applications and projects. KICKSTARTER CRUNCH TIME - DONATE TODAY!!

We've launched a Kickstarter campaign, running until 9AM July 6, to build a new, more public exhibition and hang out area for YOU! This renovation will provide a multi-use exhibition and presentation space in addition to our existing bookstore, here in Chelsea. The reconfigured space will allow us to showcase works by current artists and alumni in clear view of the street and give us a better public space for book-signings, performances, and parties. We're even planning to add a pop-up coffee shop! To do this, we need your help!!

Eyebeam Kickstarter Kick-Off Party!!

Eyebeam is holding a party on June 5, to kick-off our Kickstarter Campaign, RSVP here!! Screening: Found

Eyebeam is pleased to announce Found, the first program in a new screening series curated from our archives, organized around themes that have united artists working here over our 15 year history. Found compiles four films made by Eyebeam artists working with found and appropriated images, a mainstay of video art in the 21st century and an outgrowth of Eyebeam’s philosophy of free and open culture. The 50-minute program includes short works by Fred Wilson, Christian Marclay, Rashaad Newsome and Jacob Ciocci. The program will premier on Wednesday, April 25th with a free public screening at 8:30 pm. Beginning on April 26 it will be screened between 12 noon and 6 pm in our theater space at 540 W. 21 St..
