Opening Party

It’s the techiest art party of the season — join Eyebeam’s housewarming and celebrate our new home. Buy your tickets through our Kickstarter here — all tickets sold go towards making our new space come to life.

Thursday, November 30
8pm – 11pm
199 Cook Street*

You are invited to our new home located at 199 Cook Street in the heart of Bushwick, Brooklyn with a great rooftop-view. Get your tickets through our Kickstarter and join us in launching the Eyebeam power station for ideas and invention in a fantastic new community hub and studio.

The Opening Party will include works created by Eyebeam alums and friends including new pieces by MSHR and laser work by Constant Dullaart along with free refreshments the whole night.

Eyebeam alum James George will have Zero Days VR on display, utilizing Depthkit. George has since co-founded Scatter, located here in Bushwick, to further advance the art and technology of immersive media. Eyebeam is pleased to partner with Scatter to provide support to its 2018 residents. Eyebeam supports inventions and ideas in arts and technology including the work of 2012 alum James George and former honorary resident Alexander Porter, who developed early stages of technology Depthkit while in residency at Eyebeam.

Attendees will also have the unique opportunity to meet our new residents in an informal setting: American Artist, Stephanie Dinkins, BUFU, Dhruv Mehrotra, Surya Mattu and Ingrid Burrington.

The night does not end with us! We will be hosting an afterparty at Forrest Point, just down the street, with exclusive food and drink deals for those attending the Eyebeam party.

* Look for the brand new neon sign!
