Eyebeam's annual Summer School program offers a lively mix of youth programs, master classes, public lectures, & hands-on workshops. This year’s program has been organized as part of our upcoming exhibition Re:Group: Beyond Models of Consensus which will "examine models of participation and participation as a model, presenting work that encourages subversive participation, intervenes into existing systems, or envisions new alternatives."
Program offering includes:
MASTERCLASSES will be offered by Eyebeam Fellows Kaho Abe, Jacob Ciocci, and Aaron Meyers in collaboration with Re:Group artist, Aaron Koblin. Each studio-based class will be open to college and graduate students, teachers, and emerging artists, and will run for one-week. Registrants will have studio access to relevant tools and equipment during the course period, and get to enjoy being part of our community while making new work during the week spent here.
Course fee: $485. Registration closes June 14.

SUMMER SCHOOL @ NIGHT will offer free evening lectures featuring artists and topics included in Re:Group. Stay tuned for a detailed scheduled.
PARTICIPATION IN PRACTICE, a series of hands-on workshops where participants will work together to build out elements of different projects featured in Re:Group. More details to follow soon!
DIGITAL DAY CAMP (celebrating it's 11th year!) will invite 16 NYC High School students to participate in a 3-week summer intensive where they work alongside artists and technologists to realize a final project.
