Research Assistant Internship
We are looking for a resourceful intern with exceptional writing skills to assist in the research and development of a book and website on a specific area of environmental ecology. This unpaid internship requires a minimum of one day per week and will begin in January. It entails researching and collecting data, organizing releases and contact information, scanning images, composing written synopses of entries, and reaching out to potential collaborators.
Academic credit and compensation: Interns may receive academic credit and/or work study for their internships, as arranged through their educational institution, and book credit. Internship is unpaid but lunch and transportation are provided.
Qualifications: General knowledge of environmental ecology and interest in the field of publications are important. Attention to detail; good communication skills; strong writing, editing, and composition skills; computer word processing and design literacy.
