Antoneta Preldakaj is a Bronx-born high school student at Eleanor Roosevelt High School on the Upper East Side. She is a first generation Albanian American, and maintains that she does not have the thick European accent that makes every word seem like screaming. She travels to Albania during the summer. She is currently a student resident at Eyebeam where she creates projects involving art and technology. Some of her recent projects include the Cooper Union Story Walk, for which she recreated St. Marks Place by taking the different sounds and pictures she and her group saw to create an installation for the public.
She also co-produced Reclaim the Streets with her fellow student residents and current Eyebeam resident, Christina Kral.
