Brian Alfred (b. 2nd December 1974, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is a painter in Brooklyn, New York, who specialises in depictions of banal, urban spaces. Alfred is represented by Haunch of Venison New York/London/Zurich/Berlin , Studio La Citta Verona , and SCAI the Bathhouse Tokyo. His work consists of collages, paintings, and digital animations.

His first museum survey show was held at the Phoenix Art Museum in 2004.[1]

His animation was featured on the Times Square NBC Astrovision screen as part of Creative Time's 59th Minute.

Brian Alfred's style is influenced by Alex Katz, Charles Sheeler, Japanese prints, Propaganda posters and cartoons.
