Martin Duus was Director of Strategy and Development at Eyebeam from February 2006 to October 2009. He is a planning, development, and capital campaign specialist, who is chiefly charged with re-positioning Eyebeam and improving its access to resources. He has spent the past 30 years in cultural affairs working with, among others, The Frick Collection, where he created the external affairs department and helped lead a successful $34 million endowment campaign; the New York Public Library; the New-York Historical Society; the Staten Island Children’s Museum; the Bear Mountain Festival of Music and Dance; and the Flying Karamazov Brothers. A past president of the Art Museum Development Association, he has organized conferences, presented, and consulted for various organizations, including the New York University, National Alliance of Musical Theater Producers, and Marymount College. He has a BA in Behavioral Sciences from Drew University and a MA in Nonprofit Management from New School University.
