An installation in which people can scan their own body in 3D using a cheap pool, a webcam, some ink and some custom software.
Through submerging your body in ink-dyed water, a camera mounted directly above the pool can take photographs at different time stages that can be converted into silhouettes and then later stacked on top of each other for a 3 dimensional representation of your body.
thanks to Eyebeam center for Art and Technology for making this happen!
