Eyebeam is pleased to announce that pioneering blogger and designer Jason Kottke will be Eyebeam's first Senior Fellow in the R&D Labs. The yearlong fellowship will give Jason freedom to use Eyebeam's facilities to work on Kottke.org and develop other projects. His desk will be within the newly renovated Eyebeam OpenLab -- an environment full of artists, engineers and hackers working on creative technology projects. This means that Jason, who recently went full-time on Kottke.org, will have a reason to leave his apartment each morning.
Jason's fellowship is the first of several exciting developments for Eyebeam R&D. Stay tuned for more announcements in the coming months, including the launch of our new lab.
Update: Jason announces the fellowship on his site.
