November 25 + 26: Super Human: Revolution of the Species Curatorial Masterclass

Date: November 25 + 26, 2009
Location: Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI), Melbourne, Australia

November 25 and 26, Eyebeam executive director Amanda McDonald Crowley, curatorial partner Sarah Cook, and Eyebeam advisory council member Christiane Paul, are lead tutors at a Curatorial Masterclass to coincide with Super Human: Revolution of the Species. The masterclass is an intensive workshop providing curators, programmers and writers with the necessary skills and knowledge to reach broad-based audiences with works bridging the arts and sciences. Super Human: Revolution of the Species comprises an exhibition, masterclass and symposium. Inspired by the 150th publication anniversary of The Origin of Species, Darwin’s evolutionary treatise, Super Human turns the spotlight on collaborations between artists and scientists and the impact these investigations have on what it means to be human, now and into the future.
