With the great NYC Cool Roofs program, a team of volunteers has just painted the roof of Eyebeam white to reflect off summer sun. The improvement should reduce our summer electricity usage by 15,000 kilowatt-hours per year- this is the equivalent of turning off 350 light-bulbs for 8 hours a day, everyday of the year.
