Eyebeam is turning 20, and we want to look into the future with you as we party like it’s 2039!
On Tuesday June 18, come to the Wythe Hotel Main Hall for Fête of the Future, a benefit for Eyebeam, will celebrate two decades of enduring support for artists dreaming up new visions for our shared future. As we head into the next chapter, Eyebeam’s commitment to shifting the global conversation around society’s relationship to technology, through art, is reinvigorated and more urgent than ever.
Can’t come? Don’t worry you can still support!
Our silent auction is now taking bids for you to have an artist experience for yourself anywhere in the world. You can also make a donation to Eyebeam to ensure we can continue providing the impactful artist support.
Join our closest friends and family to honor and award visionary leaders in the fields of art, design, and technology: Paola Antonelli, Senior Curator of Architecture & Design, Museum of Modern Art, and Mitchell Baker, Executive Chairwoman of the Mozilla Foundation and of Mozilla Corporation. These awards have been designed by Mother Design and printed by Shapeways.
Come be immersed in visuals created by THE FAMILY with art direction by Eyebeam resident Yo-Yo Lin. Explore one-of-a kind artist-led experiences up for auction from alumni Zach Lieberman, Lauren McCarthy, Taeyoon Choi, and Morehshin Allahyari. Be captivated by a live performance from Jasminfire who has performed with Beyoncé, J. Cole, and Kendrick Lamar. Then join the dance floor full of your favorite Eyebeam artists, and our esteemed host committee.
For the special VIP Reception at 7PM, purchase tickets at the Singularity level (access for 2). We are excited to announce Cibo Matto co-founder Yuka C. Honda will be showcasing her newest project On/In (音韻 in Japanese meaning phonetics) with musician Akio Mokuno for the VIP hour. You’ll receive special gifts by past residents including DJ Spooky and Nick Hornby in the new Eyebeam swag designed by Mother Design.
You’ll also be acknowledged as a ‘Friend of the Benefit‘ on the night and online, and be invited to intimate fireside chats and studio visits with Eyebeam alumni throughout our 20th year.
Can’t attend? Help make it possible for the Eyebeam’s community of artists and technologists to be there by donating through the Patron ticket or our support page here.
Awards will be followed by a very special toast to Mother Design, who helped us reimagine Eyebeam’s messaging and visual identity launching as part of our 20th year celebrations.
Fête of the Future will be a night to remember with sights, sounds, and special surprises, Eyebeam style. If you share our belief that artists are the ones who can help us find a better version of our future, you won’t want to miss this truly unique evening, in celebration of the impactful support that Eyebeam gives.
