Open Hardware Summit 2012

Hours: 8:30AM-6:00PM
Cost: $75

Eyebeam is thrilled to be hosting this year’s Open Hardware Summit, bringing home a dialogue launched at Eyebeam with the Opening Hardware workshops in 2010.   The one-day event features talks and panels on DIY biology, electronics, fashion and technology, digital fabrication, business and other topics by leaders in industry, academia, and the DIY community.  Started in 2010 by Alicia Gibb and Ayah Bdeir (an Eyebeam alumnus), the Open Hardware Summit has grown to include more than 20 talks and breakout sessions aimed at empowering people to bring open-source principles into real-world products and projects.
