Open Studios: Summer 2011
EYEBEAM WILL HOLD OPEN STUDIOS FOR FELLOWS AND RESIDENTS
Friday, June 17 + Saturday, June 18, 2011: 3–6PM
A two-day presentation at Eyebeam Art + Technology Center providing an inside look at current research and in-progress work.
Eyebeam has a rich history of supporting creative technologists with a focus on production that emphasizes public iteration and open process. Open Studios is a chance to engage with the artists and creative technologists working here. Visitors are invited to explore our shared studio spaces and R&D lab as well as join in a guided tour by an Eyebeam fellow every hour, on the hour, where you will meet Eyebeam’s most valuable resource: its community of visionary creators.

STUDENT RESIDENTS 2011
The Eyebeam Student Residents are Mandy Fong and Sharon Mizrahi. Both are NYC public high-school students, and their interests range from fashion, to video production, to music, to visual art, to activism. They came to us first as participants in this past summer’s Digital Day Camp, and have worked with Eyebeam Fellows and Residents throughout the school year.
HONORARY RESIDENTS + RESEARCH ASSOCIATES
Each year Eyebeam invites key people who have previously worked at Eyebeam or are core collaborators with current Fellows and Residents to access our facilities in a range of honorary positions. This year, Honorary Resident Tahir Hemphill and Research Associate Allison Schlegel will be showing their work at Open Studios.
